Implode! XL App Reviews

I worked through most of the levels but finally gave up. The physics in Implode! XL is simply too unpredictable to enjoy the game. I was playing in expert mode, and I found that moving just one bomb the slightest amount would often result in a completely different result. There was no way to predict what would happen, which is kinda the point when solving a puzzle. I ended up solving many of the challenges through trial and error and sheer luck, not with critical thinking. The physics is also prone to errors. In some cases, parts of the structure would defy gravity and remain standing on one column. The 5-second timer would sometimes cut off a challenge that was still in the process of falling down. As for the scoring, it seems arbitrary. To get an A+ score you need to exceed the maximum dollar value assigned to each challenge. In some cases, I was able to get an A+ score on the first try, whereas in other cases I spent an hour fiddling with the placement of the bombs but could never get more than a B score.

But rapidly becomes tedious. Not worth the price.

The physics in this game is pretty darn good. The levels are easy at first and them get harder and harder. If you liked enigmo youll love this one. The world wide top score is great for replayability. Loved this game.

If you are one of those people who are too mature to play AngryBirds at school but still want to be able to blow stuff up on your IPad with friends during or between those boring lectures...look no further...Implode XL is a must have for your IPad! To be honest, this app should be on the top chart but I havent seen that yet... For the price of a latte you get 150 built-in levels plus online access to tons of user-generated levels absolutely for FREE! i have tried the other one similar to this called Demolition Master but not nearly as fun and has no downloadable levels...

Update for retina display graphics?

This is a good little logical, physics-y, thinking game.

Developers! Bring us more levels please! All my friends completed these levels in 1-2 hours. This game would be the best timekiller if you would periodically add packs of levels! Godspeed!

Clever, nice and simple game

This has been one of the best physics puzzlers that I have purchased. It is updated and features are added regularly. I cannot recommend this enough.

I like this game, its a lot of fun blowing things up in it. I dont however understand the VIP thing. I signed up but dont see any way to see my scores and compare them to my friends? though if you make it more like Open Fent or Plus+ PLEASE dont focus on world scores first and friends buried someplace levels deeper. Friends come first, and typically I see completely impossible scores on the world boards. Also, I would love to see my best scores along with the replay of the detonation that got it.

One of my favorite games, but my saves keep getting lost, so now I hate it. Would definitely be a 5 star game if it could remember my progress forever. As of now its deleted off my phone.

its good; dont get me wrong, but i think that there should be a custom building mode and a free play mode. that would make it a whole lot better. and what the heck is VIP

The latest version shows failure even though it was successful! I cant actually complete project because they all fail!!! Help!!

Unfortunately I upgraded to iOS 4.2 GM and it just closes, so I cant play it anymore and I was totally addicted!!! Cant get my fix!!! DOAH!!! Cant wait for the update for iOS 4.2...
